Tips to increase your engagement on Instagram #2

Updated: May 25, 2021

A good engagement on Instagram is a goal for all those who want their brands or companies to have more visibility and success online, if it is your case, come with us for some more tips to increase your engagement on Instagram!

When we talk about engagement, we are not necessarily talking about the number of followers or likes, we are talking about interactions. It is about how many people your post reached and how many had any kind of interaction with - interaction means people interested in your content which also means something really important - engagement!

In our last article we talked about using strategic hashtags and posting in the best times to achieve your goals.

Today we will tell you 2 more tips to increase your engagement on Instagram to keep developing your strategies!

1. Ask the audience

Don’t be afraid to ask your audience what they are interested in, what do they think about your content so far, what would they like to see. Ask suggestions, ideas. Understanding what they like will help you to create different contents and once again, interacting with your audience means increasing your engagement. Instagram algorithms understand that and will try to make your content reach even more people! How cool is that?

2. Add a location for each photo

Sometimes we forget to add where the photo was taken or where you are while making this post, but it can make the difference! Try to be specific when choosing the location, for example - I am in Perth, Western Australia, should I add this to my photo location? For sure! But if I want to be even more specific and get people closer to my location to know my profile and my content why don’t choose to share “Victoria Park, Perth - WA”?. You can also add your locations to your stories.
